I am Gus, I'm from Margaret River a small coastal town in Western Australia. I am traveling to camp to be a lifeguard and teach volleyball. I have just graduated high school and have decided to travel in my gap year as it is a big passion of mine. I am very excited to be a part of the Camp Carolina staff team for 2024.

What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?:

My most proud moment so far would have to be traveling to Timor-Leste, a small third world Country above Australia to Volunteer at the rural local medical clinics and experience there culture and rebuild connections with the people.
What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?:

My favourite hobby would have to involve playing Volleyball or spending a day at the beach.
What is your favorite thing about working with children?:

My favourite thing about working with children would have to be the endless array of stories i will be able to take away from this experience.
What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?:

An Impact i want to make at CCB is to create a fun inclusive environment to try new activities and make new friends.
What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?:

A goal or camp Philosophy i want the campers to learn is to push the campers to explore new interests and develop new skills.
